SFMI is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm that provides design services in:

The firm has provided its services for 34 years on more than 3,000 projects encompassing a wide range of building types including airports, arenas, city halls, libraries, community centers, convention centers, schools and universities, hotels, churches, medical and office buildings, retail, residential, radio, television and recording studios, theaters and auditoriums, movie theaters, parks, fairgrounds and recreational facilities, industrial buildings and utility infrastructure spaces.  In the process, we have become well versed in communicating efficiently with stakeholders, both technical and administrative, to fuse project goals into a constructable project.

Depending on a client's needs, we can provide needs assessment, master planning, schematic design, design development, bid phase and construction administration services. We have a proven ability to translate complex owner program requirements into high quality construction documents which can be reliably executed by contractors. The construction documents include detailed drawings and comprehensive CSI format specifications that are based on current product data and the requirements of public bid procedures. We are not affiliated with contractors, vendors or equipment suppliers. We are therefore completely unbiased towards specific products; strictly serving our clients' needs.
