Smith, Fause & McDonald, Inc. (SFMI) is a multidisciplinary Telecommunications and Technology Engineering firm, providing state of the art design and consulting services in Data, Voice, and Multimedia Systems for business, government, educational and instiutional clients.
We have had the pleasure of working on both new construction and renovation of public and private sector projects throughout California, where we have designed state of the art and efficient technology and telecommunication systems for everything from single buildings to entire public school districts. In the process, we have become well versed in communicating efficiently with site staff, administrators, public board members, IS departments, city representatives, architects, and construction managers to prioritize their needs into a technology implementation program tailored towards the institution's budget and goals.
Depending on a client's needs, we can provide needs assessment, master planning, schematic design, design development, bid phase and construction administration services. We have a proven ability to translate complex program requirements into high quality construction documents which can be reliably executed by contractors. The construction documents include detailed full size drawings and comprehensive CSI format specifications that are based on current product data and the requirements of public bid procedures. We are not affiliated with contractors, vendors or equipment suppliers. We are therefore completely unbiased towards specific products; strictly serving our clients' needs.
