Archdiocese Communications Infrastructure

  • San Francisco Archdiocese Pastoral Center, San Francisco, California
  • Scope of Services: Design of telecommunication systems including Cat5e universal data/voice structured wiring plant for complete renovation of 55000 square ft, 6 story office building. Design of basement MDF/MPOE and fiber/high pair count voice risers serving five on-floor IDF closets. MT-RJ connectors used throughout for fiber links. Design and bid of new 200 port PBX with a Voicemail/Autoattendant system connected to with Request to Enter panels at entrances.

  • St Patrick's Seminary, Menlo Park, California
    Scope of Services: Design of telecommunication systems including new data and voice fiber optic back bone structured cabling for the offices, faculty spaces and classrooms. Our scope included design of three new IDFs, renovation of MDF, and the specification of new phone switch and voicemail system. Recommendations for new distributed data switching infrastructure.
  • The seminary is a 100 student, brick building built in 1885 and was undergoing a seismic bracing project while the cabling and systems were being installed.

Churches

In addition to the spectacular St. James Cathedral project, SFMI has designed Sound Systems for several Catholic Churches.

  • St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church Tustin, California
  • Scope of Services: Sound system design and acoustics for 900 seat Catholic church. The sound system operates in automatic mode for most services. a separate concealed loudspeaker cluster promotes directional realism of the choir and musicians. A manual operating mode and mixing console position are available to support services with complex contemporary music requirements.

  • St. Teresa Church, Auburn, California
  • Scope of Services: Design of Sound system with "basic" and "enhanced" operational modes for 400 seat church.

  • St. Mary's Cathedral, San Francisco, California
  • Scope of Services: Masterplan assessment and pre-design of new sound systems, room acoustic enhancements, sound isolation improvements, HVAC noise control, and communications infrastructure.
