In addition to our work in designing City Halls, Council Chambers and local libraries, SFMI performs
a considerable body of muncipal communicaitons and acoustical engineering work. Included in our project experience are the following:
- City of Berkeley. Citywide PBX (telephone) network linking 40 sites in a combined data and voice network. Public Safety Building and Civic Center Structured Cabling Networks. Underground MAN linking
Civic Center Area Structures. Layer 3 filtered switch and firewalls at Police Headquarters. Data/voice distribution systems to 6 firestations and police substation.
- City of Burlingame. Noise assessment of City Hall emergency generator. Public Works Yard A/V Systems and cost assessment of Electronic Security Systems
- City of Palo Alto. Noise impact assessment of City owned electrical substations.
- City of Paso Robles Police Station - Structured Cabling, Electronic Security Systems, A/V, Interview Recording, Public Address
- City of Santa Clara Police Headquarters - Structured Cabling.
- City of Santa Clara, Fire Station 2, including Audiovisual Systems, MATV, Structured Cabling and Electronic Security Systems.
- City of Vacaville New Police Headquarters, including Structured Cabling, Public Address, Radio Infrastructure and Audiovisual Systems
- City of Vacaville Wastewater treatment Plant Adminstration Building, including Structured Cabling, MATV, Off-Air Satellite and telephone system relocation.
