    Scope of Services: Design of Cat5e universal data/voice structured wiring plant for new 3 story Police and Fire Headquarters building, with basement MPOE, 1st floor IDF and 2nd Floor NOC/Server Room. Design of multichannel public address to serve separate fire and police needs. Design of NOC to accommodate seismically safe housing for AS/400, VAX and multiple NT and Novell servers, radio dispatch interface and 911 systems interface.  Design of Layer 3 Gigabit core switching system, with layer 2 edge switch devices to distribute data at switched 100 Mbps to each user. Layer 3 firewalls fire users from police as required by Department of Justice.  Separate firewall protects overall entrance from outside. 7 fire stations & Police Substation fed by T-1 data/voice spans.

  • City of Santa Clara Police Headquarters
  • Scope of Services: Design of data and voice structured cabling plants for over 65,000 square feet police facilities.  Design of outside link to provide fiberoptic connection to nearby fire station, design of   provisions for PacBell ISDN voice network, interface to Citywide "INET" fiber distribution used for metropolitan area network and video distribution.

  • Ventura County Fire Communications Center, Camarillo, California
  • Scope of Services: Design of communication infrastructure as well as command and control displays for County wide fire dispatch building. Design of Audio Visual systems for the Training Room, Public Address System, Satellite TV distribution and electronic security systems.  Currently conducting studies to switch the department's existing telephone equipment to a newer system.

  • Scope of Services: Design of telecommunication systems including MATV, voice and data systems.  Design of outside plant, EOC provisions, 911 Dispatch and provisions to move Radio headend.

  • City of Santa Clara Fire Station No 2 and Training Facility
  • Scope of Services:   Design of Communications Infrastructure for replacement fire station and new Citywide training facility, including structured cabling, access control, zoned public address, interface to dispatch CAD/ringdown system and radio network, including shutoff of gas range and day room televisions, provisions for PacBell ISDN voice network, three way divisible training facility and video taping/video uplink, interface to Citywide "INET" fiber distribution used for metropolitan area network and video distribution.

  • Scope of Services:   Design of Communications infrastructure for replacement fire station including structured cabling, access control, public address, interface to dispatch CAD/ringdown system and radio network, provisions for PacBell ISDN voice network, interface to Citywide "INET" fiber distribution used for metropolitan area network

  • City of Paso Robles Public Safety Center, Paso Robles, California
  • Scope of Services: Design of data and voice structured cabling plants as well as design of data and voice communication equipment systems linking the city police and fire headquarters to the city hall. Design of security systems including cameras, intrusion and alarm systems.  Design of conduit and feed distribution for the police radio system. Assisting the Architect in space and furniture planning for the emergency (EOC) and 911 systems.

  • City of Pacifica Police Station and 911 Dispatch,Pacifica, California
  • Scope of Services: Design of communications infrastructure for new 20,000 square ft municipal police headquarters, including data and voice structured cabling plants, public address systems, Peace Officer Safety Training (POST) satellite reception infrastructure, MATV Systems, Community Room/EOC/Briefing Room Audiovisual Systems, Outside Plant Infrastructure, Radio/Microwave Tower infrastructure, PBX and combined radio/data/voice/satellite/MATV headend machine room.  Project included moving the City's existing POST satellite training dish to new site.
