To enforce helicopter compliance with Conditional Use Permit, SFMI researched prevailing conditional use permits, licensing requirements and operator filings; and
completed a 3 day program of on-site interior and exterior noise measurements including, Peak Spectral Impact, SEL, Ln's, Statistical Histograms
Measurement of multiple take-offs and landings using SEL (single event level) procedures demonstrated that operations were not in compliance with filed use permits
and filed anticipated noise levels. SFMI's report was used by Clark County Commission to deny further use permit to the helicopter operator.
